GEOMETRY
Grade: 812 Credit: 1 Prerequisite: Algebra I
This course is a study of 2 and 3 dimensional figures and their properties. The emphasis of this course is on problem solving, communication, and use of logic skills. Some topics include: points, lines, angles, trigonometry, polygons, area, volume, graph theory, coordinates, transformations, similarity, congruence, and probability. A 3ring binder, ruler, protractor, and scientific calculator are required.
