2013 Glenwood City School District Construction Project

District residents,

I am pleased to report that the School District of Glenwood City will be moving forward with three building and grounds projects during the summer of 2013.  These projects are being funded within our existing revenue and are the result of work by past community task forces who identified areas of need within the strategic plan of the District.  The three projects listed below include links to additional information on each:

  1. remodeling of our science labs and Family and Consumer Education (FACE) lab
  2. construction of a south loop road connecting our two campus parking areas
  3. re-construction of the existing track

I encourage you to check back periodically for updated information and photos as we progress through improving our facilities and educational opportunities for our students.    A tentative schedule of work for the projects is available by following this link:

Thank you to the task force members who have provided valuable insight into the needs and priorities of the district and to all community members for your support of the educational needs of our students.
