Welcome! My name is Brenda Johnson and I teach Art for grades K-5. I love teaching Art because these classes provide students with a unique opportunity to combine hands-on learning, creative problem solving, analytical thinking and freedom of expression while they process their world and build bridges to the world around them. It's my belief that visual art classes also provide students with rich avenues to connect with core content in areas such as math, language arts, social studies and science. It's my goal to allow your child to experience year-long growth and success as they take risks and learn new skills in the art room!
